Faroutski was formed in 91 after the split from Fireside, the previous band of the Faroutski members. Faroutski had to become the outlet of what was branded as the roots of the band members: punk rock'n roll!
After more than a year of rehearsals, sweat, blood and tears, insurmountable tragedies and mile-high mountain peaks, (all is not true, will) they burn their first stage act in mid October 92 with a 45 minute set, immediately chased about 20 numbers through their amplifiers and did their thing undisturbed. 9 years later they still do this!
After some local performances, they decided, along with fate, not to take root in the local hunting grounds, and they began to look for groups with which to share the bed and the stage. In 94 they completed their first tour with the English punk band Strange Behavior. Later they also went out with the Dutch Mangel.
They still go abroad, a few times a year, especially the Netherlands, but also Germany, France, Great Britain and Luxembourg.
Faroutski has profiled itself from the beginning as a true DIY band (do it yourself, but without the G ..), in the tradition of the good old punk bands. On their own FUNARCHY label (formerly Rocklabyrinth Records) they release cassettes, singles, videos and CDs that they all distribute independently: sales at gigs, exchange worldwide by mail, via the internet, ... For the last CD , the first Full CD, by the way, Farout Chicken Ride, they did make a deal with the modest Alphen A / D Records label from the Netherlands. The CD will therefore be distributed in the Netherlands and Belgium, and later perhaps also in Germany.
Faroutski's performances run smoothly like a V8 powered punk'n roll machine. While Barney indicates the speed on his turbo drums, Rine and Kyvie drag and pull the strings of Bass and Guitar to blow out the sturdy punk'nroll set full of my-way tracks towards the pub, a audience that it is therefore difficult to escape from head nods, jumping around and trainees-roll-spinning.
In this way, the group members not only play off the weekly stress and restlessness of their sweaty bodies, they help the fans go wild with it.
Faroutski is not just about making music, it is a true therapy. It does not pay back from the health insurance fund ...

Maybe you remember Hai Karate: next to English Leather, the most successful, and worst cologne ever made for men (all of us kids had a bottle of both: a Christmas pack). But, the commercials for Hai Karate were the best. These ordinary mo's had to use all of their karate skills to fight off these swarms of women; unable to resist the alure of a man wearing Hai Karate cologne; couldn't leave his house for fear of having to constantly fight off all these girls. Really funny. Is humor still, okay? Jeff Richardson
