The Delvis Moons started out as a one person project. The music was recorded throughout 2020 which was the worst year for most of us. Unfortunately, I was laid off of work and with my emotional state proceeded to write songs to amuse and heal myself. I only had access to an acoustic guitar, my voice for both lead vocals as well as all harmonies. I wrote and recorded with no true goal nor expectation besides that of maintaining my sanity. I had one recorder and it was an old iPhone 5 lying around without cellular service. I was surprised to find out that I could record on that phone's GarageBand app. Again, no grand plan and very limited resources, I decided to record and occasionally post the results on social media. I wrote and recorded for both my sanity, as well as to pass the time in lockdown.

The Delvis Moons is my love of The Ramones coupled with the entire spectrum of garage rock music from the 1960's to the present. I did record my drums/percussion with kitchen spoons. Today we have a legitimate band and we hope to keep the music rolling both live and in future recordings.
