I Fat Tones was born in Italy in 2013.
They play genuine 50’s and 60’s Surf, Twist and Exotica music.
Their first lp “i Fat Tones” was released in 2017. They partecipate to Surfer Joe Summer Festival 2018 and 2019.
During the 2020 they release “Quarantones”, a collection of revisited covers, all home-recorded. The band was born from the passion for the Surf music of the first original members: Matteo Skalzo (guitar), Tony Manzony (bass) and Nicolò Marley (drums).
After two years with the entrance of the saxophone of Mamao Sax and the change of the drummer, Big Jim Monellas, the band started to play also genuine 50’s and 60’s Twist and Exotica hits.
