Hitchcocks is a quartet from the city of São Paulo (Brazil) with the sound of
Surf Music, Garage Rock and B movie soundtracks.
His first record was the 2008 Ep Recorded and released independently. The Band
presented at festivals such as the Minas Gerais Surf Championship and band circuit
independent. Also participated in some compilations with national labels
and international (Veneno Record - Mexico, Dead By Mono - UK, Mercosurf and
Wildstone - South America). In 2010, the band released a DVD (in the dark with
Hitchcocks) by audio visual producer Kana Filmes.
The band has a direct connection with images and cinema, in 2011 recording the soundtrack
for the short film “Desalmados” and “Necrochorume” - 2012 (directed by Geisla
Fernandes) among other participations with soundtracks.
In 2018 the band released their album “It´s Alive!”, With 12 copyright tracks in the middle of
floods of reverb and robotic echoes from the new wave, resonate in a mixture
intergalactic gothic surf or going to the house on the hill where time stops, modulating
frequencies in the waves and radars with synthesizers dissolved in the cosmic dust of
a disturbance on Mars.
This album is the result of the musical telepathy of those who have known each other for over 30 years
terrestrial. A collection of songs sewn by the band in ten years of career.
That remains more alive than ever, as wide open in "It's Alive!"
name to the new album.
