BIOGRAPHY
In this era in which Mexican youth behaves like mexican senescence, the generational changes destroy the past and the sociopolitical debacle of our country is more than evident, we arm this band to play rock&roll loud and get out of fads or trends.
Electric Shit originated from the love we have for rock and roll and was in 2012 we got together to play some versions of the Stooges, Muddy Waters, Animals and the songs started coming out with no more pretense than having fun talking about what's happening to us and keep the rock and roll fire alive. The name was born because precisely our sound and the music we have always heard refer a lot to that: to the electricity of the amps, the old amps, the electric guitars, the TV Eye of the Stooges, the Hendrix guitar feedback, the electric blues from Howlin wolf and Muddy waters, the Mississippi boys like RL Burnside, T-Model Ford and Junior Kimbrough, bands from the 90s like Bassholes, Oblivians, Jeffrey Evans and the punk rock from “San Felipe de Jesús” (the place where we grew up)
