Dead Skin Sessions are a new alt garage rock/post punk band from Brighton, UK.
Angry, but not angst, fierce yet vulnerable and aggressive but not ugly, Dead Skin Sessions deliver a sonic ignition of distortion fuelled melody and rhythm.

Dead Skin Sessions debut four track EP – Positive Feedback – has mental health as a key theme, and explores the subject both introspectively and as a recent cultural phenomenon, witnessing a rapid increase in awareness, acceptance, and exploitation.

The EP journeys like a dislodged spirit through neglected street communities, observing in denial the eruption of a white collar drug epidemic in the midst of a ‘Positive Thinking’ street campaign, tormented by it’s own mental health awareness…

Expressed in thoughtful rage through dirt fuzz riffs, UK metal power chords, soul baring vocals and torso pounding drums, Dead Skin Sessions debut is phonetic reflection of our desperate hope of understanding in an unforgiving culture; this is an anthemic shout-out for a coping mechanism...
